OTC Accountant- Japanese

Job Requirement:

Knowledge of: 

·         Good understanding of the Entertainment industry preferable applications for the OTC process within a business such as Home Entertainment, Television or Films.

·         Significant experience of managing OTC processes, or other core finance processes, within a complex, large volume environment

·         Appreciation of local regulatory requirements

Skill In: 

·         Good working knowledge of SAP Financials

·         Experience of negotiating, and managing performance against, service level agreements

·         Experience of working in a SSC preferable

Ability To:

• Operate in a dynamic, fast moving environment
• Operate in an international environment
• See the internal customers’ perspective 

Language Skills:

• Effectively communicate in business Japanese (speaking, reading and writing skills)

Effectively communicate, at all levels, across the business and finance organization with strong business English (oral and written) language skills.

Japanese Accounting Associate (Shared Services)

Qualifications:

·Academic qualification: Bachelor in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance. CPAs are welcome to apply

·Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance & accounting; prior experience in shared services is preferred though not essential

·Good knowledge of accounting principles, local and international accounting standards

·Strong analytical and communication skills are required as well as strong customer services skill

·Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and strive to achieve team performance objectives

·Possesses team player qualities and takes initiative and ownership of assigned duties

·Conversant in SAP and Microsoft Office suite preferred, but experience with other ERPs may be considered

· Strong written and spoken proficiency in English and Japanese
